The following is an indication of the fees and other costs
associated with a typical purchase. Costs, in particular legal fees, will vary depending on the specific transaction in question.

Valuation fee2

- Cheques made payable to "The Ahli United Bank (UK) PLC".
Valuation fees are paid by the customer and
calculated at a rate of £1 per £1,000 (min. £150) plus VAT. On
property values in excess of £500,000 fees will be negotiated
individually with the valuer.

Local Search Fee1/2

|
- We understand that this will vary between approximately. £80 and £200.
|
|
Land Registry Fee
|
|
- A scale of charges applies dependent upon the sale price of the
property. e.g. The fee for property purchased for £100,000 would be
approximately £200. Your solicitor will provide full details on request.

Solicitor’s Fees2/3

- You must pay both AUB (UK)’s and your own solicitor’s
fees. AUB (UK)’s solicitor’s fees are as follows:-

Arrangement Fee
|

- 0.75% of property valuation, less first payment.

Stamp Duty
|
|
|
Calculated on the purchase price of the property
between us and you, at the following rates:-
|
- 1% of the sale price from £125,000 to £250,000
- 3% of the sale price from £250,001 to £500,000
- 4% above £500,001.
|
In certain areas properties are exempt from Stamp Duty up to the value of £150,000.
