The resignation of Justice (rtd) Muhammad Taqi Usmani from our Shari'ah Board
It is with regret that the Bank wishes to announce the resignation of Justice (rtd) Muhammad Taqi Usmani from our Shari'ah Board so he can purse his academic activities and projects. Justice (rtd) Muhammad Taqi Usmani was a founding member of the Bank’s Shari'ah board and will be sorely missed. We wish him every success in the future and would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his assistance with the launch and ongoing involvement with Manzil making it the success it is today. The Fatwa issued by the Shari'ah Board will of course continue to be valid for the Ijara and Murabaha products we offer and a copy of this is available on request.
