Traditionally, for our non UK resident based clients, owning a property in the UK has always had strong appeal. In fact for some owning a property in the UK it has proved to be a lucrative medium to long term investment.

Unlike most UK based Banks, our dedicated team understands that non UK resident clients need a solution that specifically deals with their individual circumstances, accordingly our terms and conditions can be tailored to your individual needs, whether you are purchasing a single property for your own use, or one or more properties as an investment.

Our bespoke service means that we are perfectly at home whether we are assisting individuals, Corporate entities or Trust vehicles. We are able to assist in the formation of such structures as appropriate to your needs through our own trust company AUB Trustees (Guernsey) Limited.

Our flexibility and experience has allowed us to offer you two totally separate methods of Shari’ah compliant home finance.

Finance is available under each style of home purchase plan to assist you either in the purchase of a property, or in unlocking the capital in an existing property to facilitate further investments.

  • Assistance of up to 65% of the property value
  • Both the Ijara and Murabaha Home Purchase Plans are available
  • *Ijara basic rent will be based on a fixed margin of up to 3.19% plus either 12 month or 3 month Bank LIBOR (as a benchmark)
  • Murabaha profit rate of 7.0% which is fixed and guaranteed for the entire term
  • Purchase or refinance residential property for either letting as an investment or own use
  • Application fee of 1.25%
  • Minimum finance amount of £100,000.00
  • Finance term ranging from 5 to 25 years
  • Available for the purchase and refinance of freehold and leasehold properties

*Under the Ijara plan the actual basic rent applied for non UK residents will depend upon the transaction and its value, and the individual circumstances, please ask us for a personalised illustration.

A UK bank account will be required for non-UK residents and personal guarantees may be required for corporate purchases.
